If you live in the Simcoe area, you will be very familiar with the black soil of 400 highway.
According to the history, this is the basis for the first layer of organic soil formed in the Dutch swamps 4000 years ago by decaying forest vegetation. Approximately 30 cm of dead material accumulates every year, resulting in extremely fertile black organic soil.
It is a great honor to be invited to do a flight demo for Holland Marsh growers! We are thankful to the association for the support of ag tech, the introduction of world cutting-edge precision DJI ag knowledge to members, and how these ag drones could benefit our wetland crops and ease the work for our growers.
The soils of the Holland Marsh are particularly well suited to the production of root crops, such as carrots, onions, beets, and parsnips.
DJI drones can work well on these wetlands and leave no prints in the fields. Since these equipment are not in contact with crops, it is avoid the touch and spread of weed seeds and the spread of pests and diseases as well.
Due to the DJI drone dosage, it can not only save 30-50% of pesticides but also protect the quality of the soil as the mixture will stay on the leaves as the mist droplets format, it will not drip down to the soil.
We demonstrated the two-in-one function of spraying and spreading DJI Agras T20 drones to growers.
Through the high-brightness touch screen remote control, the growers can directly plan the plots to be worked on through the GPS map. You only need to enter the amount of liquid required by each Acre in the remote control, and this fully automatic drone will set other parameters by itself, including flight height, flight width, and flight speed.
After the drone completes the operation, it will return to the take-off point.
A T20 drone is equipped with 4 batteries, 2 water tanks. You can replace the battery and the next tank within 10 seconds, and it can auto release air and do carlibration from remote control as well, just in few seconds.
The drone can automatically return to the breakpoint to continue the operation from the breaking point without missing any area or double spray any area, this is the merits of data based precision system.
We also shared with growers how the integrated ag drones system works without bothering about the matching and application of software and data between various ag devices.
Through the DJI P4M multi-spectral drone diagnose the change of the multi-spectral vegetation index, the undernourished area can be found in time, and then the DJI Agras drone of DJI can be used for variable operation for any target area or it can do the variable operation for the whole area. This is how you see the crop colour becoming more and more uniform. In this way, this technology can help the crops grow more evenly so that the bushel harvest in all areas is closer to the highest value.
Agricultural drones have changed our agricultural farming methods. It is not only convenient and enriching the agricultural life of each of us. Its cloud computing, big data function, artificial intelligence, edge computing technology, and agriculture are well integrated. This promotes the important driving force for the intelligent transformation of the industry in the production, operation, and management of various production links in agriculture.
